GamerLegion will begin its RLG Tesla Cup 2026 campaign without Timur "FL4MUS" Marev, after the organization said the Russian rifler is dealing with unexpected travel and visa problems.
The team expects FL4MUS to rejoin the lineup for its second match, but for the opener, Denis "Grashog" Hristov will take his place. GamerLegion faces Envy in its first game of the event, so the lineup change comes right before the start of the team's run in Serbia.
Another setback for GamerLegion
This is the latest in a series of roster issues for GamerLegion. The team has already been forced into changes in recent events, with several players missing matches for different reasons.
Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof was absent from the IEM Beijing qualifier because of health issues. Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski missed FPG 3 due to travel complications, while Fredrik "REZ" Sterner was sidelined from Logitech G Play Connect after food poisoning.
The pattern has made it difficult for GamerLegion to field its full starting five consistently, and the organization now heads into another event with an altered lineup.

Grashog gets another chance
For Grashog, the opener against Envy will be his third match for GamerLegion this season. He is not the regular first-choice option in the lineup, but he has already been used by the team before and now gets another chance to contribute in a main event setting.
The announced lineup for the opening match is:
- Fredrik "REZ" Sterner
- Sebastian "Tauson" Tauson Lindelof
- Milan "hypex" Polowiec
- Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov
- Denis "Grashog" Hristov

What it means for the team
Opening a tournament without one of your riflers is never ideal, especially when the roster has already been dealing with repeated interruptions. Even if FL4MUS is expected back soon, the first match can shape momentum and test how well GamerLegion can adapt on short notice.
For fans, the main takeaway is that the team’s availability issues continue to be a factor around its results and preparation. For players and analysts following GamerLegion, the opener against Envy will offer another look at how the squad performs when forced to shuffle its lineup at the last minute.
